Essential oils are a precious gift from nature, used for centuries to enhance beauty, support health, and uplift emotional well-being. Because they are highly concentrated plant extracts, it's important to understand how to use them properly

How to Prepare and Use Essential Oils:

  Bath

Add 6–12 drops of essential oil to the bathtub after filling it with warm or hot water.

  Body Oil

Dilute essential oil to a 2.5% concentration in a carrier oil.
Example: 15 drops of essential oil in 30 ml of carrier oil.

  Face Oil

Dilute essential oil to a 1.0% concentration in a carrier oil.
Example: 6 drops of essential oil in 30 ml of carrier oil.

  Compress

Add 10 drops of essential oil to 100 ml of water. Soak a clean cloth in the mixture, wring it out, and apply it to the affected area.

  Inhalation

Add up to 10 drops of essential oil to a tissue and inhale.

OR

Add up to 10 drops to a bowl of hot water. Place a towel over your head, lean over the bowl, and inhale the steam for up to 10 minutes.

  Air Spray

Mix 20 drops of essential oil with 200 ml of water in a spray bottle. Shake well before each use.

  Vaporization

Add a few drops of essential oil to a bowl of water and place it on a burner or in a diffuser to disperse the aroma into the air.

Important Guidelines for Using Essential Oils:

Essential oils are highly concentrated and should be used with care. Each oil has unique properties, so it’s important to research thoroughly or consult a qualified aromatherapist to choose the right ones for your needs.

Except for a few exceptions, essential oils should not be applied directly to the skin. Always dilute them properly in a carrier oil and perform a patch test by applying a small amount to the inner arm. Discontinue use if any irritation occurs.

If you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, or are using essential oils for children or babies, consult a doctor or a professional aromatherapist beforehand.

Keep essential oils out of reach of children, avoid contact with eyes, and never ingest them unless specifically advised by a qualified professional.
